Notre projet de société

We would like to start by thanking you for the great help that you will gave us and making this project a reality!

We live in a third world country, where poverty, malnutrition and bad education are a big problem, with which we live each day. We also know that our help only at Christmas time is not the solution to finish this problem that our country has. But it make us happy to know that there are good-hearted people who lives far away and although they are unrelated to this reality, are willing to help us bringing a smile to many children at Christmas. It gives us hope and enthusiasm to solve and improve many needs in Peru and able to continue working along the years in some other projects.

The idea of our project:

"Help a child to smile everyday", started two years ago, with help from our Danish friends: Morten Bruun y Henning G., we got started! At Christmas 2007, we support approximately 280 children from three communities near Cusco. This year 2008, with the help of: Andres Pedersen, Morten B., Henrik, Birgit, Roberta and all people who help us with financial aid, we brought gifts and social support to 560 children from different areas of Cusco: WE ARE GROWING UP!

We have been taking photos and video from the project, and would like to join everything with you. YOU have all been helping to bring out happiness to children at Christmas, and we received back from the children the best possible gift – a smile at their faces. We have observed that each year until now the support of all people from all over the world has increased.  We want to thank all of you for making this a reality, and hope that you will continue supporting our project next years.

BE PART OF IMPROVING THE LIFE OF PERUVIAN KIDS…

December 13th: We visited the area of Picchu Alto and were helping by bringing a complete “basic kitchen equipment” for totally 100 children. At the day of the help, there came 110 people to Picchu Alto, and we also provided hot chocolate to them all, 50 kg of rice and 20 liter of cooking oil. We worked together with “The Andean foundation” who brought new houses for chickens, guinea pigs (national dish), alive chickens, alive guinea pigs and foot for them too. We were bringing help in that way that they in the future can help them self and provide there own necessaries.

December 22nd: We divided us in groups to bring a gift, hot chocolate and a Christmas bread to:

• Casa Hogar de las Estrellas: A center outside Cusco - 40 children with Down syndrome or mentally handicapped.

• Comunidad de Huancabamba I y II: Two villages located 1hour 50minutes drive from Cusco at the highland countryside. We provided Christmas joy to 70 children.

• Margen Derecha: Located in a poor area of Cusco. Provided Christmas joy to 340 children.
