ITINERARY

Day 01:

We leave Cusco at 6 am in our private bus. We’ll stop in Ninamarka, an ancient pre-Inca cemetery. Then we arrive at Paucartambo well known for its celebrations of the Virgen Del Carmen, patron of the people. Then we’re going to ascend to the Abra Acjanaco, which its 3 536 meters above sea level, where we'll stop and we can see the 3 different varieties of the ecosystem. Here begin the descent into San Pedro or Cloud Forest, where we spend the first night in a lodge. We’ll have stops in some strategic points to do walks. This place has a lot of variety of flora and fauna such as orchids, bromeliads and animals like the spectacled bear, monkeys and the national bird of Peru "Cock of the Rock."

Day 02:

We got up early to go to observe the “Cockerels of the Rocks”. Then we continued our journey by car to Pillcopata town, and we’ll make a stop at Coca plantations. Will continue to Atalaya, where we’ll take the boat headed to Yanayaco Lodge.
Then, in the afternoon we’ll have a hike, and visit the Collpa of Tapir.

Day 03:

We will visit Yanayaco, and have a walk on the trails or tours of the lodge where you can appreciate the wildlife and the variety of animals in the area, as well as medicinal plants may be observed. At night we have the possibility to observe Caymans in the river.

Day 04:

We will return to the city of Cusco during all day.
